Make a Difference While You Travel
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team at a large, dynamic skilled nursing facility in beautiful Monterey County, California. In this role, you will help residents improve mobility, restore function, and maximize their independence through individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Whether you're an experienced SNF therapist or new to the setting, mentorship is available to help you thrive.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled physical therapy services to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in Net Health according to facility standards
- Float to a nearby sister facility within walking distance as needed
Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapist (PT) license required
- Skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience preferred, but not required
- Mentorship available for therapists with 0–1 year of experience
- Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills
- Flexible, team-oriented, and patient-focused approach to care
Schedule
Preferred availability:
- Sunday–Thursday, or
- Tuesday–Saturday
