About Us
A&E Med Spa is a plastic surgery and aesthetics clinic in Miami. We're growing fast and we need someone who can keep up — not just post pretty pictures, but actually think about content strategy, create scroll-stopping material, and stay ahead of what's trending in the aesthetics world.
This is not a "schedule posts and go home" job. You'll be inside the clinic every day, camera in hand, capturing real moments, real results, and real stories. You'll be the creative brain behind our social media presence.
The Role
You're our in-house content engine. You research trends, come up with ideas, film and photograph content on-site, edit it, write captions that convert, and post it — all while keeping our brand consistent and our engagement growing.
If you need someone to tell you what to post every day, this isn't the role. We want someone who brings ideas to the table, not someone who waits for instructions.
Responsibilities
- Research and pitch content ideas daily — trending audios, competitor analysis, seasonal hooks, patient journey content
- Plan and maintain a weekly/monthly content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
- Film and photograph content on-site: before/afters, behind-the-scenes, doctor features, patient testimonials, procedure walkthroughs
- Edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) with captions, transitions, trending audio, and text overlays
- Write scroll-stopping captions with strong hooks, storytelling, and clear CTAs
- Manage posting schedule and engage with comments, DMs, and community interaction
- Track performance: what's working, what's not, and adjust strategy accordingly
- Stay ahead of trends in aesthetics, beauty, wellness, and social media algorithms
- Coordinate with the medical team for content approvals (before/afters, testimonials, claims)
- Organize and maintain a content library (photos, videos, templates, brand assets)
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years managing social media for a brand (not just personal accounts)
- Strong portfolio showing Reels/TikToks you've created — we want to see YOUR work, not templates
- Proficient in video editing (CapCut, InShot, Premiere Pro, or similar)
- Proficient in Canva for static posts, stories, and graphic design
- Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms, hashtag strategy, and engagement tactics
- Good eye for aesthetics — clean, elevated, on-brand visuals
- Strong copywriting skills — you know how to write a hook that stops the scroll
- Comfortable being on camera AND behind the camera
- Own a smartphone with a quality camera (iPhone 13+ or equivalent)
- Available Monday through Saturday, on-site at the clinic
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Fluent English required; Spanish is a strong plus
Bonus Points
- Experience in the aesthetics, beauty, medical spa, or plastic surgery industry
- Basic photography skills (lighting, angles, composition for clinical settings)
- Experience running paid ads (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads) — even at a basic level
- Knowledge of SEO basics for social captions and hashtags
- Experience with email marketing (Mailchimp, Klaviyo)
- Comfort working in a medical/clinical environment (you'll see procedures, blood, and recovery — it's not for everyone)
The Person We Need
Skills can be sharpened. Attitude can't be taught.
- Creative and hungry — you're always thinking about the next piece of content. You screenshot ideas at 11pm. You notice what competitors are doing. You bring energy, not excuses.
- Self-starter — you don't wait to be told what to do. You see an opportunity, you grab your phone, you film it.
- Trustworthy and discreet — you'll have access to patient stories, before/afters, and sensitive information. Confidentiality is non-negotiable.
- Thick-skinned and adaptable — not every idea will be approved. Not every post will go viral. You take feedback, adjust, and keep moving.
- Organized — content calendars, deadlines, approvals, posting schedules — you keep it all running without dropping balls.
- Team player with initiative — you work with doctors, coordinators, and patients. You need emotional intelligence and professionalism.
- Obsessed with quality — you'd rather post nothing than post something mediocre. But you also understand that done is better than perfect when timing matters.
