We are currently seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager for an industrial plant site under construction in Queen Creek, AZ.
Job Summary
The Site Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring OSHA compliance, enforcing company safety policies, and creating a proactive safety culture on a fast-paced construction site. This role requires leadership, accountability, and a strong understanding of industrial and construction safety practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site safety operations for an active industrial construction environment.
- Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments.
- Ensure strict OSHA compliance and maintain accurate documentation.
- Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
- Monitor subcontractors and internal teams for safe work practices.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with site leadership to drive a proactive, safety-first culture.
Requirements
- OSHA 510 certification (required)
- Experience in industrial, construction, or heavy-industry safety management.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and high-risk activity controls.
- Ability to work Monday–Saturday with occasional Sunday work.
- Self-starter with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to maintain accountability while promoting a positive safety culture.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA, Workers’ Comp. policies and EHS protocols.
- Manage incident investigations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure construction activities remain safe and compliant.
- Support schedule goals by integrating safety requirements into daily operations.
- Additional safety certifications (CSP, CHST, First Aid/CPR) are a plus.
