Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive On-site Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. This role involves monitoring access points, patrol the perimeter and responding swiftly to incidents. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict management skills, be attentive to detail, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a secure environment for residents, visitors, and property. Duties
- Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular surveillance using installed camera systems and perform visual inspections of the premises to detect suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or conflicts, employing conflict management techniques as needed.
- Perform routine patrols of the property including entrances, exits, parking areas, and sensitive zones to deter theft or vandalism.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Provide first aid or CPR in emergencies when necessary and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders as required.
Experience
- Prior experience in security services required. Law enforcement, military, or veteran's are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV technology not required but a plus.
- Training in conflict management, first aid and CPR also a plus.
- This is for a GRAVEYARD shift, the ability to remain alert during long or nighttime shifts while maintaining professionalism under pressure required.
