At Waypoint, we believe every young person deserves a safe place to sleep, a caring adult they can trust, and the opportunity to build a brighter future. Our Emergency Youth Shelter provides more than just a bed—it offers stability, connection, and a path toward independence.
We're looking for compassionate, dependable individuals who are passionate about supporting youth and creating a safe, welcoming environment where young people can begin to heal and thrive.
If you're someone who leads with empathy, remains calm during challenging situations, and wants your work to truly matter, we'd love to meet you.
As an Overnight Youth Support Specialist, you'll help ensure the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of youth and young adults staying in our Emergency Shelter during overnight hours.
You'll provide supportive supervision throughout the night, conduct wellness and safety checks, assist with morning routines, and help young people start each day feeling safe, respected, and prepared for what's ahead.
