Join the newly rebranded and historic hotel -The Carlton Hotel as an Assistant Hotel General Manager, where your leadership and expertise will elevate guest experiences and operational excellence. This pivotal role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management to ensure the smooth running of hotel operations. You will support the General Manager in supervising daily activities, managing teams, and maintaining high standards of service. Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional guest service.
- Supervise hospitality teams by providing leadership, training, and mentorship to foster a motivated and high-performing workforce.
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable stay for every guest.
- Coordinate night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation of daily transactions.
- Implement customer service initiatives that enhance guest experiences and promote positive reviews across multiple platforms.
- Support front desk operations by ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes and managing guest requests with enthusiasm.
- Contribute to the development of hotel policies and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices in hospitality management.
Experience
- Minimum of three years' experience within the hospitality industry, ideally with Marriott or other branded hotel experience.
- Strong background in hospitality management with comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, budgeting, and financial operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage hospitality teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Skilled in customer service excellence with a focus on guest relations, complaint resolution, and creating memorable experiences.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Familiarity with human resources functions such as staffing, training, and compliance is preferred.
- Knowledge of night audit procedures and front desk operations is advantageous for supporting seamless hotel functions.
Pay: $70,700.00 - $75,000.00 per year
