Day Shift
Job Summary: Administers, directs, and coordinates inter- and intra-departmental activities. Work is performed in accordance with Kentucky regulations for Registered Nurses, established hospital standards, Nursing Department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital, nursing and education services.
- Associates degree from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
- Current Kentucky State Board of nursing license required.
- BCLS required
- Avade workplace violence prevention training (Level III) required after hire, not to exceed 3 months, and maintained annually. Training provided in-house. ***current employees as of April 12, 2024 will be allowed 1 year to obtain***
- EXPERIENCE: Two years’ experience in a recent hospital setting preferred for FTE and PRN employees. One year of inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.
