Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our supply chain and warehouse operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock control, and supporting efficient warehouse distribution processes. Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using warehouse management systems
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and root cause analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to optimize purchasing strategies, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
- Utilize data mining tools and data visualization software like Power BI and Tableau to analyze supply chain metrics, demand planning forecasts, and inventory trends.
- Support logistics operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, materials handling, and materials management to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflow efficiencies and implementing best practices for stocking, storage, and inventory control.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy lifting equipment safely to manage warehouse materials handling tasks efficiently.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, or supply chain analytics within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle), and data analysis tools like SQL or Power BI.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, category management, demand planning, and logistics operations.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and develop solutions that improve process efficiency.
- Experience with materials handling equipment including forklifts is preferred; certification is a plus.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for decision-making purposes.
