Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Commercial Electrical Foreman in Hoffman Estates, IL. The Commercial Electrical Foreman leads and manages field teams to ensure the successful completion of electrical projects across various commercial job sites. This role requires a hands-on leader who can interpret complex blueprints, maintain strict safety standards, and adapt to different project requirements based on site specifications.

Pay: $30 to $50 Per Hour BOE
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of electricians and helpers to ensure high-quality workmanship on commercial projects.
- Coordinate and schedule daily electrical tasks to meet project timelines and avoid delays.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.
- Manage job site safety by conducting regular meetings and enforcing OSHA protocols.
- Oversee material inventory, including ordering, deliveries, and organization on-site.
- Inspect completed work to verify performance, safety, and adherence to project specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress and communicate updates to project management.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in commercial electrical construction with a proven track record in a lead or foreman role.
- Comprehensive understanding of commercial electrical systems, circuitry, and installation methods.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical documentation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a field team.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Flexibility to manage and work across different commercial job sites as assigned.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to various project locations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50-80 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolding, and work at significant heights.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precision electrical tasks.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods during the shift.
- Must have sufficient color vision to accurately identify and discern color-coded wiring.
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and noisy environments.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $30 to $50 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
