Certified Medical Coder
$24.75 Per Hour

We're looking for a detail-oriented Medical Coder to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate has experience assigning accurate medical codes, maintaining compliance with coding guidelines, and supporting efficient billing and reimbursement processes.
Responsibilities
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes to medical records.
- Review clinical documentation for completeness and coding accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with coding regulations and payer requirements.
- Work with providers and billing staff to resolve coding questions.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Help identify coding errors and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent certification preferred.
- 1+ years of medical coding experience preferred.
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical billing software.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
