Duties
- Supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and operational efficiency
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management
- Oversee customer service standards to guarantee an outstanding shopping experience
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential
- Handle cash register operations including cashiering, cash handling, and POS system management
- Coordinate purchasing activities and assist with pricing strategies to optimize profitability
- Conduct employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting efforts to build a strong retail team
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures
Experience
- Proven supervisory or managerial experience in the retail industry with a focus on sales team management
- Strong background in retail math including budgeting, pricing, and inventory management
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, customer service excellence, and managerial communication
- Experience with POS systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques such as merchandising, marketing, and promotional planning
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively
- Prior experience in grocery stores or wireless sales environments is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with training & development practices to support team growth and performance improvement
