Sin City Diesel & Offroad is local shop focusing on the repair and performance of Cummins, Duramax, and Powerstroke pick up trucks. We also specialize in off road suspension, wheels & tires, among other things relating to trucks & offroad!
Looking to add a diesel technician who is fluent in Cummins, Duramax, and / or Powerstroke light duty diesel pick up trucks. This is NOT an apprenticeship, previous experience is REQUIRED. We work on light duty diesel pick ups from 2000s to late models. We do not perform any medium duty or big rig service.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Heavy line powertrain / drivetrain repairs
- Diagnostic of vehicles & aftermarket parts
- Suspension repair, install, & modification
- Aftermarket parts installation
- Light repairs & lube services
- Fleet maintenance
- Maintain shop cleanliness
Requirements:
- Must have own tools and be able to work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent commmunication and problem-solving skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Experience with welding, fabrication, engine / transmission building, gear setting, or other related special skills are highly desirable.
This is a salaried position with performance goals and bonuses based on billable hours achieved. Salary is based on experience.
