Licensed Therapist (LPC or LCSW) – Remote | 1099 Contractor
Our growing private practice is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in New Jersey to join our collaborative care team. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced APNs in a supportive, team-based environment while maintaining flexibility in your schedule.
Position Details:
- Primarily remote (telehealth), with potential for future in-person services
- 1099 independent contractor role
- 15–20 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual therapy sessions via telehealth
- Build and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with clients
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Support clients in managing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges
- Provide crisis support, guidance, and psychoeducation as needed
- Collaborate with APNs and other providers to ensure coordinated care for high-risk patients
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications:
- Active LPC or LCSW license in New Jersey
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Currently credentialed with major commercial insurances in New Jersey is required.
- Experience developing and implementing treatment plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working with diverse client populations
- Experience with or ability to learn and use the Tebra and Headway EHR system
