Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a lively and inviting atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Manage multiple orders efficiently through excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to enhance guest experience
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management to ensure bar stock is well-maintained
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or food service roles within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or upscale environments
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and spirits
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and energetically
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high standards of service
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and food safety procedures
- Experience in food handling, catering, or retail environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of beverage recipe development and bartending trends is a plus
