Conestoga Log Cabins & Homes is a leader in designing and manufacturing high-quality log cabin kits. We have recently expanded operations by bringing pump assembly and repair work in-house for our sister company. We are growing our team with shop hours of 6:45 am - 3:15 pm.

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler/Production Worker with strong mechanical aptitude to build, repair, and reassemble mechanical equipment, specifically pumps.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and is comfortable using tools—even if you don’t have direct experience with pumps.
What You'll Do
- Assemble, disassemble, repair, and rebuild mechanical equipment
- Install and align components such as motors, couplings, seals, bearings, shafts, and similar parts
- Inspect, clean, and evaluate components for wear or damage
- Follow work orders, instructions, drawings, and parts lists
- Use hand tools, power tools, presses, pullers, and measuring tools
- Assist with testing of assembled equipment to ensure proper operation
- Identify and communicate any fit, quality, or part issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work closely with team members across production, engineering, and quality
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all assembly and fabrication tasks
Additional Work (as needed)
- Assist with manufacturing related to log cabin production
- Support general shop tasks and material handling
Preferred Experience
- Mechanical assembly, maintenance, or hands-on technical work
- Experience using tools in a shop or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with components like bearings, seals, or rotating parts (a plus)
- Forklift experience (a plus)
Key Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude (comfortable working with tools and equipment)
- Ability to follow instructions, diagrams, or basic drawings
- High attention to detail and focus on quality
- Dependable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in a shop environment
- Safely handle equipment and mechanical components
