Job Overview
Eprine Wellness Center seeks compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitionesr to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health care and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered services. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients/children and adolescense with psychiatric disorders in various settings, including home care and specialized facilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Perform physical examinations and document findings accurately.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients with complex needs.
- Participate in the management of patients with dementia, including those requiring hospice palliative medicine.
- Engage in specimen collection processing as needed for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in psychiatric care, including emerging therapies and treatment modalities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with certification in psychiatric nursing.
- Experience in home care settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices is advantageous.
- Knowledge of ophthalmology or neonatal ventilator management is a plus.
- Proficiency in medication administration and monitoring for side effects.
- Ability to perform physical examinations effectively.
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $65.00 - $110.00 per hour
