Job Summary:
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, setting up, maintaining, and cleaning the breakfast area to ensure a high-quality guest experience. This role involves interacting with guests, replenishing food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that all breakfast service meets Hilton brand standards. The Breakfast Attendant plays a key part in creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests to start their day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area in accordance with Home2 Suites and Hilton standards.
- Greet guests in a warm, friendly manner and assist with any breakfast-related questions or requests.
- Ensure all food and beverages are fresh, stocked, and presented attractively.
- Monitor and replenish buffet items throughout breakfast service.
- Maintain cleanliness of food prep areas, dining room, counters, and tables during and after service.
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report any maintenance needs.
- Handle food safely, following all health and sanitation regulations.
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management.
- Assist with light food prep and cleaning kitchen appliances, if needed.
- Provide a positive and memorable guest experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic food handling knowledge preferred (food handler’s permit may be required by local laws).
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift, push, or pull up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
