Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our dynamic roadside assistance team. Duties
- Operate tow trucks with precision, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles safely.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best towing approach or necessary repairs.
- Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly, managing conflicts professionally, and assisting customers with their needs.
- Maintain detailed records of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and service reports for accountability and compliance.
- Perform routine inspections and basic automotive repairs when necessary, leveraging mechanic experience to troubleshoot issues.
- Follow all safety protocols during vehicle recovery operations and ensure adherence to traffic laws and company policies.
Requirements
- Must have working phone as you will not receive dispatches or be able to work without one
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Proven experience operating tow trucks, especially flatbed models, with a strong understanding of towing procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on automotive diagnostics, repair skills, and familiarity with manual transmissions.
- Must have Chauffer's License (Class D)
- Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts or other lifting devices.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and ability to perform basic repairs when needed.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
