Oversee completion of mechanical and plumbing proposals, including equipment and subcontractor solicitations
Perform and supervise quantity take-offs, labor estimates, and pricing
Provide technical input and alternatives for design solutions based on industry knowledge
Lead proposal efforts for plan/spec, design assist, and design build projects
Build and maintain strong client and vendor relationships
Review contracts on awarded projects to ensure proper scope, exclusions, and clarifications
Mentor junior estimators and lead hand-off meetings for awarded projects
Collaborate with operations to ensure bid completeness and accuracy
Identify and solicit qualified subcontractors/suppliers, reviewing quotes for scope compliance
Attend pre-bid meetings, site walks, and provide budgets as required
