Summary
We are currently seeking part-time or full-time drivers to join our team at Gary Yeomans Ford. We offer a flexible schedule! In this role, you will be responsible for transporting vehicles, customers and parts safely and efficiently, contributing to our mission of delivering outstanding customer service. This position is essential in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport cars and parts as needed.
- Load and unload vehicles and equipment, ensuring proper handling.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking deliveries and returns.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle usage.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with box trucks and manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
