We are currently seeking a full-time Transportation Design Engineer. A successful candidate must be registered as a Wisconsin Professional Engineer and have experience designing Wisconsin State, County, Municipal and Township transportation infrastructures including roadway and bridge projects. Project experience should include the design of new highway roadways, reconditioning of existing highways, intersections and roundabouts, construction staging, erosion control and storm water management as it is related to highways, bridge approaches, right of way, and construction. Additionally, a proven proficiency with utility and agency coordination as well as creating project reports including environmental and design study reports is necessary.
Required Experience
BS in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer License in Wisconsin
Minimum of 3 years of transportation project design experience in Wisconsin
Must have advanced experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and 3D modeling
Proficient in the use of the Wisconsin Facilities Development Manual for project development
Plan, report and specification production skills
Must be an active design team member providing input and ideas
Experience with construction inspection of transportation projects is desired, but not necessary
Desire to produce a quality product, detail-oriented
