Heavy Equipment Operator / General Laborer (Year-Round)
Riverview Excavating & Snowplowing is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator / General Laborer to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with previous heavy equipment operating experience who can step into the position with minimal training. At Riverview Excavating & Snowplowing, no two days are the same. We perform a wide range of services, including excavating, landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, and commercial property maintenance throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers, loaders, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform excavation, grading, site preparation, drainage, and landscaping projects.
- Assist with lawn care, property maintenance, and general labor as needed.
- Perform commercial and residential snow plowing, salting, and ice management during the winter season.
- Load, haul, and unload materials and equipment.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
Qualifications
- Previous heavy equipment operating experience is required.
- Must be able to operate equipment with minimal supervision and training.
- Experience with excavators and skid steers is required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- CDL is not required but is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to assist with a variety of tasks throughout the year.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
