We are looking for a Direct Support Professionals to join our team and provide basic home and personal care services, education and/or employment services to youth 14-25 years old, adults with barriers to education and employment, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and individuals 50+ years old who need assistance in their home and/or in a community The successful candidate will be, first and foremost, responsible for providing direct care, assisting with activities of daily living, and helping to create a safe and supportive environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a compassionate attitude. The Direct Support Professional will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to individuals in order to help them reach their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assistance can range from very minimal to full assist.
- Provide assistance in the development of independent living skills.
- Provide transportation to medical appointments, recreational activities, and other community outings.
- Monitor the health and safety of individuals in the program.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals in the program.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided to individuals in the program.
- Assist with medication administration as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
