About the Role
C & L is hiring a dependable and detail‑oriented Bus and Office Cleaner to help keep our charter buses and facility in excellent condition. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, managing their own tasks, and taking pride in doing quality work. Cleaning takes place outdoors, and hours vary depending on bus arrival and departure times, so flexibility for early mornings, days, nights, and occasional weekends is important.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize the interior of charter buses, including seats, windows, floors, restrooms, and high‑touch surfaces.
- Perform exterior cleaning of buses outdoors, including wiping windows and light washing.
- Remove trash and lost‑and‑found items from buses.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and hand sanitizer.
- Clean and maintain office and shop areas, including trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, and restroom cleaning.
- Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
- Inspect buses for damage or maintenance needs and report issues to management.
- Operate cleaning tools and equipment such as vacuums, pressure washers, and brooms.
- Follow all company safety and sanitation protocols.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Must be comfortable working independently and managing your own workflow.
- Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and good time‑management skills.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs and move safely around buses and the facility.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Availability for early mornings, days, nights, or weekends as bus schedules change.
