Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of waffle recipes with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including waffle irons, mixers, ovens, and other culinary tools
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Handle food production tasks such as poaching, braising, grilling, and food handling to support overall meal preparation
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate food service during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Follow recipe adherence and portion control guidelines to maintain product consistency and minimize waste
Skills
- Proven experience as a dietary aide or in a similar food service role within the food industry or restaurant setting
- Strong culinary skills including food preparation, cooking techniques (poaching, braising, grilling), and knife skills
- Experience with menu planning, recipe development, and high-volume production environments
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent food handling skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation
