Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and interpret tax laws, rulings, and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
2. Draft, review, and revise various estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
3. Provide sound legal advice to clients on estate planning, wealth preservation, and asset protection strategies.
4. Represent clients in probate court proceedings and handle all aspects of probate administration.
5. Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans.
6. Conduct thorough research on complex legal issues related to estate planning and wealth preservation.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, probate, and tax law.
4. Demonstrated expertise in drafting and reviewing estate planning documents.
5. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Superior written and verbal communication skills.
