Meridian Global Staffing Solutions is hiring experienced Scissor Lift Operators / Banner Installation Crew Members for a 2-day event assignment at Randall's Island in New York City.

This is an excellent opportunity for dependable individuals with experience operating a scissor lift who enjoy working in a fast-paced event environment. Immediate openings are available.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a scissor lift to install event banners and signage.
- Install and remove banners throughout the venue before and after the event.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown activities.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work efficiently with the installation team to complete the project on schedule.
Qualifications
- Scissor lift operating experience is REQUIRED.
- Previous experience with event setup, banner installation, construction, or general labor is REQUIRED.
- Ability to safely work at heights.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow directions.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Dress Code & PPE
- Steel-toe work boots are REQUIRED (no sneakers).
- Work pants or jeans required.
- Safety vest and hard hat are preferred if available.
