American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology position requiring BMT experience and APHON certification, working nights on a 13-week contract.
-
Inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology unit at a children's hospital
-
Unit consists of 24 Hem/Onc beds, 10 BMT beds, and a 17-bed overflow area
-
Primary assignments on the Hem/Onc and BMT units, which are located one floor apart
-
May float to the general pediatrics floor, PICU, NICU, and a sister campus for appropriate assignments
-
Night shift position (7p–7a)

Schedule options available: 3x12s or 4x12s

Weekend block required: Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon (4x12s) or Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon (3x12s)

Active GA or compact RN license required — pending licensure is not accepted

Current certifications required: BLS, PALS (American Heart Association), and APHON — no pending certifications accepted

Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience required

Pediatric nursing experience required

Two professional references from a supervisor level or higher, completed within the last 12 months, required for consideration
