Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Theft & Fire Claims Adjuster to join our Claims team. This role is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving automobile theft and fire claims while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with state regulations and internal guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations into theft and fire-related auto claims, including recorded statements, documentation review, and coordination with law enforcement and SIU as needed.
- Review policy coverage, validate loss details, and determine liability and settlement value in accordance with company guidelines.
- Request and analyze supporting documents (police reports, cell phone records, credit checks, repair estimates, affidavits, proof of loss forms, etc.).
- Maintain detailed and accurate claim file documentation, action plans, and communication logs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with insureds, claimants, agents, vendors, and internal partners.
- Collaborate with SIU on suspicious or complex losses.
- Manage claim inventory to ensure timely follow‑up, regulatory compliance, and closure within performance standards.
- Identify subrogation opportunities and secure supporting evidence when applicable.
- Attend training and maintain updated knowledge on state regulations, fraud indicators, and emerging claims practices.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of auto physical damage, theft, fire, or SIU-related claims experience.
- Valid Texas adjuster license.
- Strong understanding of policy language, investigative techniques, and theft/fire claim workflows.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office.

Pay: $50,500.00 - $60,000.00 per year
