Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) units, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform equipment repairs and replacements promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and service manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects by supporting installation or upgrade of mechanical systems. Drywall, painting etc.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and inspection reports for all work performed.
- Collaborate with team members on projects or tasks to ensure safety standards and quality are upheld.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues efficiently.
- Construction or building maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team on complex projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to clearly explain technical issues.
