About the Role
Safeguard On Demand is hiring reliable Patrol Officers / Rovers to provide mobile patrol and security services across client sites throughout Orange County. As a Rover, you'll drive a marked patrol route between locations, conduct interior and exterior checks, respond to calls, and document activity in real time using our GPS-based reporting platform.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mobile patrols of assigned client properties on a set route and schedule
- Perform property checks, gate/lock verification, lighting checks, and safety sweeps
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and dispatch calls
- Deter loitering, trespassing, theft, and unauthorized activity
- Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and photo documentation via mobile app (GPS-tracked)
- Maintain professional communication with clients, residents, and dispatch
- Enforce site post orders and property rules consistently
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of security experience required
- Valid California BSIS Security Guard Card (or ability to obtain before start)
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently overnight
- Strong written reporting skills and attention to detail
- Prior patrol or mobile rover experience strongly preferred

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
