Position Overview
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic TCG Associate to join the Lucky Draw TCG team! The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with customers, has an interest in trading card games, and is willing to learn about the different products and games we carry.
You do not have to be an expert in every TCG, but must have a understanding of trading cards and a willingness to learn is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a friendly, welcoming experience.
- Assist customers with finding TCG products, accessories, and other store merchandise.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately process purchases.
- Stock, organize, and maintain product displays.
- Help receive and organize new inventory and product shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable store.
- Answer basic customer questions about products, events, tournaments, and store policies.
- Assist with tournaments, organized play, and special store events.
- Help create a positive and inclusive environment for players, collectors, families, and new customers.
- Learn about the different TCGs, products, accessories, and brands carried by Lucky Draw TCG.
- Follow product limits, pricing policies, and other store procedures.
- Help monitor the sales floor
- Perform opening and/or closing duties as assigned.
- Assist with other store-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be friendly, dependable, and professional.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of trading card games is preferred.
- Knowledge of games such as Pokémon, One Piece, Lorcana, Magic: The Gathering, Gundam, Dragon Ball, Riftbound, and other TCGs is a plus.
- Must be willing to learn about new games and products.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, especially during product releases and events.
- Must be able to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
- Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
