Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Licensed Therapist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Duties
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing to determine client needs and treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and behavioral therapy tailored to individual client requirements
- Provide specialized child & family counseling, youth therapy, and group therapy sessions to foster resilience and support developmental needs
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management techniques and crisis intervention protocols, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients experiencing acute distress
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards while maintaining accurate medical records within EMR/EHR systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Engage in clinical research and data collection efforts to improve therapeutic approaches and outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW) or equivalent credential with active clinical practice privileges
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), co-occurring disorders, PTSD care, addiction counseling, geriatrics or gender issues counseling preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral health interventions, psychodynamic approaches, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and trauma-focused therapy
- Experience delivering telehealth therapy using secure platforms while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to handle crisis situations efficiently through crisis management strategies and behavior management techniques
- Knowledge of medical records management and clinical ethical guidelines necessary for maintaining confidentiality and compliance
