Position Overview
Summit Industrial Construction, LLC is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our corporate and professional recruiting initiatives. This position will focus primarily on identifying and attracting talent for corporate, administrative, professional, technical, and early-career positions across the organization.
In addition to full-cycle recruiting, this role will help expand Summit's college recruiting presence, coordinate internship opportunities, attend university career fairs and recruiting events, and develop relationships with colleges and universities to strengthen our future talent pipeline.
This is a hybrid position offering flexibility to work remotely while being available to work in the office, attend recruiting events, or support other company initiatives as needed.
Experience within the construction, industrial, engineering, EPC, or related industries is preferred. The primary recruiting focus of this position will be professional and corporate-level talent rather than craft/field hiring.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned corporate and professional positions.
- Recruit across departments such as Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, Safety, Project Controls, Estimating, Engineering, Operations Support, Administration, and other professional functions.
- Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and long-term talent goals.
- Develop sourcing strategies and proactively identify qualified active and passive candidates.
- Conduct candidate screenings and coordinate interviews throughout the selection process.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, technical programs, and other educational partners.
- Coordinate and attend college career fairs, university recruiting events, networking events, and other talent outreach opportunities.
- Support the development and coordination of Summit's internship and early-career talent programs.
- Build pipelines of college students, recent graduates, and experienced professionals for future opportunities.
- Support employer-branding initiatives that increase awareness of career opportunities at Summit.
- Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting information within the applicant tracking system.
- Assist with recruiting metrics, reporting, and tracking of hiring and talent-pipeline activity.
- Support special projects and company-wide Talent Acquisition initiatives as needed.
- Travel periodically for university recruiting, career fairs, company events, and other recruiting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field.
- Experience recruiting professional, corporate, administrative, or technical positions preferred.
- Construction, industrial, engineering, EPC, manufacturing, or related industry experience preferred.
- Experience with college recruiting, internships, university relations, or early-career programs is a plus.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with candidates at all levels, from college students and recent graduates to experienced professionals and leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment while remaining responsive and connected to the team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms.
- Ability to travel as needed for recruiting events and company initiatives.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
