The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers therapeutic procedures in physical medicine and rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring physician. This role establishes individualized physical therapy goals, provides treatments, and regularly reassesses patient progress, documenting all findings accurately.

Conducts thorough physical therapy evaluations to assess patient needs and develops individualized treatment plans.

Administers safe and effective therapy treatments, ensuring all interventions are appropriately documented.

Reassesses and adjusts treatment plans within appropriate timeframes to align with patient progress and changing needs.

Provides clear, concise, and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information.

Educates patients and their families on treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and post-treatment care to support long-term recovery.

Operates therapy equipment safely and maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.

Collaborates with referring physicians, peers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.

Demonstrates population-appropriate competencies for all relevant patient demographics, tailoring care to individual needs.

Maintains compliance with facility policies, including safety, infection control, and risk management procedures.

Adapts to changes professionally and effectively, following the chain of command to address and resolve issues impacting patient care.

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required

0-2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting required

Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, therapeutic techniques, and safety standards.

Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and develop effective treatment plans.

Proficiency in using therapy equipment and technology for documentation and billing.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and maximize productivity.

Commitment to professional development and adherence to ethical and legal standards.

PT - Physical Therapist license in the state of employment required

BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required
