Summary
The Social Worker provides clinical social work services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Horsham Clinic and the NASW. The Social Worker is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.
The Adult Partial Hospitalization Program Social Worker's essential duties are to provide direct care under the supervision of a Program Coordinator, Attending Psychiatrist, or designee. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, activities of daily living and communication with referral sources and families.

Requirements
- LSW/LCSW/LPC/LMFT - REQUIRED
- Master's degree in social work REQUIRED
- 3-5 years prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population required
- Inpatient psychiatric population experience preferred
- Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management,
- Experience running group therapy
- Flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
- Must be a team player and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication
