About the role
I'm a high pace loan originator / mortgage broker / investor talking to prospects every single day, and I need a sharp right hand to keep deals moving. This isn't a calendar-and-coffee assistant role — it's a finance-focused seat for someone who can take messy call notes, turn them into clean deal summaries, run income calculations, and help me match each borrower to the right lender or investor.

What you'll do
- Take notes from my daily prospect calls and turn them into structured deal summaries
- Run income calculations and help assess deals (DTI, qualifying income, scenario analysis)
- Research and recommend the right lender / investor for each loan based on the borrower's profile
- Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Manus, etc.) to speed up underwriting prep, document review, and deal analysis
- Build and maintain Excel models, trackers, and deal pipelines
- Keep the loan pipeline organized so nothing slips
What I'm looking for
- Strong understanding of mortgages and the lending process
- Excellent Excel skills (formulas, modeling, clean spreadsheets)
- Real, hands-on fluency with AI tools — not just "I've tried ChatGPT," but someone who builds prompts and workflows that save hours
- Sharp with numbers and detail-oriented; income calculations have to be right
- Clear written communication and self-directed
Big plus
- NMLS license (or actively pursuing one)
- Experience in mortgage operations, processing, or as an LOA
Compensation
- $2,500/month base, plus commission on every loan we originate
- Realistic earning potential of $100K+/year for a strong performer
- Your effort directly drives your income — the better you are at moving deals, the more you make
Pay: $30,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Los Angeles, CA 90048
