Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated professional, detail-oriented Patient Representative to join our team. Bilingual is a plus. In this role, you will be ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter our facility. You will be responsible for managing patient inquiries, assisting with administrative tasks, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers. Have excellent phone etiquette. Great interpersonal & communication skills. Flexability, Ability to perform well under pressure and time management. Basic math skills a must.
Duties
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, services, and insurance information.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date in the system.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers.
- Assist with billing inquiries and coordinate with insurance companies as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the dental staff, including preparing necessary documentation for patient visits.
- Educate patients on office policies, procedures, and available services.
- Confirming appointments
- Verifying insurance's
- Processing payments and taking patient co-pays
- Balance Deposits
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology is essential.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective patientand Dentist interaction.
- Experience in providing dental administrative support will be an advantage.
