American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment supporting a variety of surgical specialties.
-
Operating Room/General Surgery department
-
Surgical patient population including Orthopedic, General, Podiatry, GYN/OB (including C-Sections), Pain Management, Urology, and Endoscopy cases
-
Schedule of 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
-
Shift hours from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) required

Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI (AHA certifications required for BLS, ACLS, and PALS)

1 year of related nursing specialty experience preferred

BSN preferred

Deliver direct, independent patient care by applying the full nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Collaborate with physicians, staff, and management to address nursing care needs and ensure adherence to hospital policies

Act as a patient advocate while respecting patient confidentiality, cultural beliefs, and family involvement in care

Additional language proficiency preferred

Must reside within 50 miles of the facility for local candidate consideration

Returning employees who previously worked at any CHRISTUS facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a new travel assignment
