Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage food service customer orders with professionalism, ensuring order accuracy and timely delivery
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety standards, including proper food handling and equipment cleaning
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through friendly recommendations
- Support food industry standards by practicing safe food handling procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Proven background in food service customer order management, cashiering, or retail sales transactions
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a café or grocery store setting is a plus
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service
- Prior experience in food safety management and sanitation practices is desirable
