Litigation Paralegal (Personal Injury) – Fort Bend / Harris County
Fazli Law Firm, a growing personal injury law firm based in Sugar Land, Texas, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with hands-on knowledge of Texas civil litigation, specifically in Fort Bend and Harris County courts.
We are looking for someone who does not need to be trained on the basics and can take initiative in managing litigation files from filing through trial.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file Original Petitions and related pleadings in Texas state courts
- Coordinate service of process and track deadlines
- Draft and respond to discovery (Requests for Disclosure, Interrogatories, Requests for Production)
- Calendar and monitor litigation deadlines (answers, discovery, depositions, trial settings)
- Assist with deposition scheduling and summaries
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
- Maintain organized litigation files and ensure compliance with court procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of litigation experience (personal injury preferred)
- Strong familiarity with Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
- Experience working with Fort Bend and Harris County courts
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
- Experience with case management systems (MyCase preferred but not required)
