Floater / Facilities Support Team Member
Hall of Fame Preschool is seeking a dependable, energetic, and hands-on team member to support daily school operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment, and is willing to assist wherever needed to ensure the school runs smoothly.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with serving breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages to classrooms.
- Support kitchen and food service operations as needed.
- Perform daily housekeeping duties throughout the facility, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and general cleaning.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Assist with setting up and moving classroom furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Complete minor maintenance and light repair tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, assembling equipment, and other routine facility upkeep.
- Help with playground inspections and maintaining outdoor areas.
- Provide classroom support when needed and assist staff during transitions and special events.
- Follow all licensing, health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist in multiple areas of the school.
- Experience in facility maintenance, custodial work, food service, or childcare settings is preferred but not required.
- Must pass all required background checks and meet state childcare employment requirements.
