A health services system in New York is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Operating Room team in Westchester County.
About the Opportunity:

Shift: 12-hour shifts

Schedule: Monday to Friday (3 days a week)

Hours: 10:45am to 10:45pm
-
Setting: In-person, hospital operating room
Responsibilities:

Prepare pediatric patients and families for surgery

Explain procedures in an age-appropriate and reassuring manner

Perform preoperative assessments and documentation
-
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff
-
Monitor patient status throughout procedures and provide postoperative support
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Nursing experience

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
-
Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
-
PALS certification
-
Previous experience in an Operating Room role/setting
Desired Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Strong knowledge of Pediatric Surgical procedures and equipment

Experience supporting Orthopedic Trauma, Neurosurgical Trauma, General Trauma, Transplant Services, Vascular Surgery, complex Plastic Surgery, Liver Transplant services, or Kidney Transplant services
