Full-Time | Licensed Clinician
University Behavioral Associates (UBA) at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York is seeking a masters or doctoral level clinician (Licensed or Limited Permit Psychologist, Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor) to serve as a Licensed Clinical Supervisor for the Family Treatment & Rehabilitation (FTR) program funded by the NYC Administration for Children’s Services (ACS). This community based, family centered program works closely with parents, children, and providers (including ACS) in order to ensure a strong, effective collaboration that supports families in focusing on child safety and well-being.
The Licensed Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for providing clinical support and supervision to staff related to client assessment and intervention, working collaboratively with the team to coordinate services for families, and serve as the direct point of contact for FTR clinical concerns, attending Child Safety and Early Engagement conferences, providing clinical input at FTR meetings (such as Clinical Diagnostic Team meetings). This position will also facilitate meetings with families including determining clinical needs and making referral recommendations.
The Licensed Clinical Supervisor will supervise several staff members directly, such as Family Team Conferencing facilitators, and will deliver trainings to child welfare staff on various clinical topics, as needed. Administratively, the position may assist with overseeing referrals to the child welfare programs, assign cases to teams, review clinical reports and track key deliverables, overseeing client charts and charting requirements, and participating in all relevant training, supervision, and consultation activities.
The Licensed Clinical Supervisor must have evening and/or weekend availability, and be able to provide periodic on-call 24-hour coverage.
The preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience working with families, interfacing with child welfare services, evaluating mental health and/or substance use concerns, providing comprehensive assessments, and will have excellent managerial skills and strong organizational ability. Spanish-speaking a plus.

Salary Range: $110,000 to $120,000
Location: 334 E. 148th St., 2nd Fl., Bronx NY 10451 (some travel may occur)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm. Occasional evenings and weekends.
