Position Summary:
Suwannee Medical Personnel is actively seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for PRN shifts and contract assignments in long-term care (LTC) and skilled nursing facilities.
This role is ideal for LPNs who are comfortable working in a fast-paced LTC environment and are looking for flexible scheduling, consistent opportunities, and competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor for effectiveness
- Perform routine assessments and report changes in condition
- Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and care teams to ensure continuity of care
- Follow all facility policies, infection control protocols, and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Active LPN license in the state of Alabama
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent LTC or skilled nursing experience required
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt quickly to different facility workflows
- Reliable transportation for local assignments
