Collaborative Trauma Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dependable Peer Support Specialist/Family Skills Coach to join our growing Community Based Services team.
This position provides intensive in-home post-crisis stabilization services to youth and families following a behavioral health crisis. Our goal is to help families remain safely together, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and connect with the resources they need to thrive.

What You'll Do
As a Peer Support Specialist/Family Skills Coach, you will:
- Provide strengths-based, in-home support to youth and families following a behavioral health crisis.
- Build trusting relationships with youth, caregivers, and family members.
- Utilize lived experience to inspire hope, resilience, and recovery.
- Coach families in practical communication, parenting, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills.
- Help families identify strengths and create goals that promote long-term stability.
- Connect families with community resources and support systems.
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, schools, medical providers, and community partners.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Travel throughout the assigned service area to provide services in homes, schools, and community settings.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has personal or family lived experience with mental health, behavioral health, or recovery.
- Enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Is compassionate, dependable, and able to build meaningful relationships.
- Has strong communication and organizational skills.
- Can work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Is flexible and comfortable working in home and community settings.
- Has reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
- Is willing to travel throughout the assigned counties (mileage reimbursed).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with youth and families.
- Experience in behavioral health, peer support, case management, education, child welfare, or human services.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and recovery-oriented practices.
- Experience providing post-crisis stabilization, family support, or community-based services is preferred.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
