In this position, the RN Supervisor interacts with all levels of nursing personnel, other department personnel, and medical providers to ensure quality care is provided to each resident/patient.
Assists in ongoing Quality Assurance of resident care and documentation.

Assumes other duties as assigned by DNS and ADNS.

Conducts in-services during assigned shifts according to pre-determined schedules. Records attendance.

Monitors the schedule of physicians' visits and keeps the Medical Director advised of all discrepancies.

Projects the facility's image in a positive light to residents, staff and community.

Maintains a positive attitude and rapport with family members. Assumes independent responsibilities for documenting disciplinary concerns for charge nurses on designated shifts, including reprimands, oral and written warnings, and recommending the suspension or discharge of an employee.
Qualifications:

Must have 2-3 years' experience in Long Term Care with progressive supervisory experience

Sigma care proficiency

EDUCATION:

New York State RN License current and in good standing

PRI Certified

Proficient in Care Planning
REQUIRED WORK SCHEDULE: Must be able to work alternate weekends
Job Type: Full-Time/Every other weekend
Pay: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
