Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves managing classroom behavior, and promoting independence through play. Preference given to candidates with Early Childhood degrees.

Responsibilities
- Knowledge of RIELDS early learning education standards.
- Able to work collaboratively
- Foster a positive learning environment by utilizing effective behavior management strategies. Positive reinforcement strategies
- Engage children in physical activities to promote health and wellness. Supervision of children during outside play
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom schedule and goals
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and classroom management practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that supports learning. Responsible for daily light cleaning throughout the day.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Students continuing their education are welcome to apply
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting.(Prefer the candidate has a minimum of 1-2 years teaching experience)
- Knowledge of Montessori methods is a plus but not required.
- Strong skills in classroom, and behavior management. Organized and reliable a must.
- Ability to create engaging physical activities suitable for young children.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their developmental needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
