Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team at Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab, a leading provider of post-acute care services. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Design and implement speech therapy programs to address patients' specific needs, including language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Conduct speech therapy sessions with patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and a patient-centered approach
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans
- Participate in staff meetings and in-service training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Clinical fellowship (CF) completed
- State licensure or certification to practice speech therapy
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar setting
