In search of a full-time medical assistant for a dermatology practice in Dallas, TX. Perfect job for a pre-PA, pre-med, or pre-nursing student looking to gain experience in the field during a gap year!
The practice offers medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. The job duties include but are not limited to: rooming patients, taking vitals, taking patient medical history, charting in electronic medical record system during patient visit, assisting the physician with procedures and surgeries, answering patient messages, and completing paperwork related to patient care such as prior authorizations for medications. Must be a team player and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be comfortable speaking with patients in a kind and professional manner.
